The Director, Strategic Sourcing Ortho/Spine oversees a National Perspective and Strategic Focus for approximately $775M annual spend within approximately 106 Contracts and/or Product Categories. This leader defines and implements a clear strategy to optimize total cost of ownership, including product sourcing, product standardization and vendor standardization and leads a category team of manager level staff with expertise.

This role develops and executes a comprehensive procurement strategy that supports the organization’s expansive, multinational operations, optimizing procurement processes, managing global procurement service centers, and mitigating risks across diverse markets. The role will partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure that procurement initiatives align with the company’s strategic goals, drive cost efficiencies, and foster sustainable practices on a global scale.

Support regional sites and oversee the entire supply chain operation to ensure it is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives. You will lead the strategic planning and execution of global supply chain activities. You will also develop and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers and negotiate contracts to optimise value.
