The Athletic is accepting applications for its Engineering Internship Program to attract and develop the industry’s next stars. Internships will be 12-weeks in a remote setting, from June 2, 2025 - August 22, 2025. Interns will be embedded on Engineering teams working with engineers to launch features and projects into production.

The Athletic is innovating in the world of journalism. As a Software Engineer, you'll work with the Product team to implement growth-related features and improve the product. You will build solutions that take into account performance, scalability, and code quality, and investigate production issues. The role is 100% remote within Australia.
