The Senior Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the VCS in all deployed environments. The candidate will apply FAA safety protocols and frameworks to this particular effort by implementing and managing the contractor’s VCS safety program. The person will develop written plans for FAA approval that comply with the FAA Air Traffic Organization Safety Management System Manual, the FAA System Safety Risk Management Guidance for Systems Acquisitions, and other applicable FAA publications.
