This is a contract role. The ideal candidate should have experience in writing, editing, reviewing, organizing the technical content related to Software and Hardware, and excellent communication and organizational skills. You will write, edit, review, and organize technical content for our hardware and software platforms. Structure documentation and hierarchically organize content for an enhanced user experience.

As an Emerging Talent Intern, expect the space and opportunity to build upon skills and knowledge, while contributing to critical work as part of a core team. Creating product documentation for end users and system administrators. Learning to author in a variety of environments, primarily DITA/XML. Researching, writing, and ensuring the accuracy of content that covers current and future releases of our product. Working closely with development teams in an Agile environment.

The Managing Editor will report to the Executive Editor of SCOTUSblog, and work closely with SCOTUSblog’s reporters, contributors, and contractors to plan and publish all of SCOTUSblog’s content. This individual will also manage most aspects of the website, including posting articles, keeping the statistics page current, updating case pages, and a variety of other tasks. The Managing Editor will also have the occasional opportunity to cover Supreme Court-related events.
