As a Senior Front End Engineer (Web/API), you’ll design and implement fast, real-time web applications. The platform at BitMEX is built with React.JS and finely optimized for performance. You’ll build and maintain the user interface and backend services for the trading terminal, creating highly responsive frontend components, ensuring integration with backend systems, and optimizing performance and security for real-time data flows.

Join a fast-growing team to develop and manage the overall user experience for the BitMEX trading platform. As a Product Designer, your key task is to elevate the web experience for traders. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and commercial teams to roll out new features and improve the customer experience.

Design, develop, maintain, and support fault-tolerant, containerized distributed systems of microservices for writing and reading exchange data. Provide services to both internal and external clients, such as new products, support tooling, and analysis tooling in a rapidly moving environment. Collaborate with peers and users on technical design and direction, acting as a senior technical resource.

The Trading Engine sits at the core of the BitMEX platform and handles all brokerage and trading aspects. You will have ownership in the design, development and delivery of trading system components and partner with Financial Products and quantitative researchers on product delivery. New feature implementation, bug fixing, and performance tuning is required.
