Acts as an institutional liaison with extramural sponsors and works to manage the proposal preparation and/or post award activities on grants, contracts, program projects. Independently performs moderately complex administrative and financial functions related to budgeting and forecasting requiring specific knowledge, skills and broad application of policies.

This pivotal leadership role is responsible for driving critical projects that advance the university's core priorities. You will lead solution design and recommendation development, collaborating closely with senior leadership to craft innovative and actionable strategic frameworks, and partner with the PMO to ensure the successful implementation of key initiatives.

This role is responsible for all aspects of financial settlement with suppliers, maintaining banking components of supplier accounts, and issue resolution. Direct interaction with suppliers and internal departments is a key function. The specialist performs moderately complex accounting functions to ensure accurate processing of accounts payable transactions and addresses escalated issues, ensuring compliance with NYU policy and IRS regulations.
