Instructor

Academic Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Teach 11-week live, online courses using engaging, student-centered instructional strategies and foster an inclusive, supportive environment.
• Provide timely feedback, host weekly office hours, and work with Teaching Assistants to co-manage the course and evaluate student progress.
• Collaborate with peers and staff to share best practices, contribute to co-curricular programming, and stay current on pedagogical trends.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in the subject area and at least 2 years of college/university teaching experience.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, comfort with digital tools and platforms, and digital fluency with AI-powered educational tools.
• Proactive, reliable, and committed to high-quality online education with a passion for equity and supporting diverse student backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation is $8,000 per 4-credit course or $5,000 per 1-2 credit course per 11-week quarter.
