Software Development Engineer

WHAT WE DO:

• Data forms the foundation of everything we do at Mapbox.
• It is integral to every product we offer, including maps, navigation, and search.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Take ownership, improve, scale, and iterate on existing data processing pipelines.
• Design and implement new data processing pipelines.
• Collect and monitor performance metrics.

WHAT WE BELIEVE ARE IMPORTANT TRAITS FOR THIS ROLE:

• Good knowledge of at least one programming language (C++, Python, Scala, or Java).
• Experience with AWS services or any other cloud platform.
• Comfortable with SQL and have a good understanding of SQL engine basics.
