Head of AI/ML Engineering

Lead and scale a high-performing team in designing, building, and deploying cutting-edge Generative AI and machine learning solutions. This role is responsible for defining the AI technical strategy, overseeing platform development, and delivering AI solutions that drive measurable business impact. You will lead a team of AI engineers, data scientists, and platform engineers while fostering a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and ethical AI adoption. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in large language models (LLMs), MLOps, AI/ML platform architecture, and enterprise AI governance. Accountabilities: Define and execute the AI/ML technical strategy and architecture across the organization, covering data ingestion, MLOps, model training, fine-tuning, RAG, and agentic applications. Make critical technology decisions balancing build vs. buy vs. open-source approaches to ensure speed, cost efficiency, and long-term scalability. Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier AI engineering talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning, excellence, and innovation. Build, scale, and maintain AI/ML platforms providing standardized tooling, infrastructure, and workflows for LLM training, deployment, orchestration, and evaluation. Partner with business and product leaders to design, implement, and optimize AI solutions that deliver measurable outcomes aligned with strategic goals. Ensure reliability, compliance, governance, and cost efficiency of AI infrastructure and deployed solutions. Drive operational excellence, including quality assurance, observability, AI governance, and performance monitoring. Champion responsible and ethical AI adoption, ensuring explainable, compliant, and high-quality AI solutions across the organization.
