Backend Integrations Engineer

Kraken is looking for a seasoned backend integrations engineer passionate about reinventing financial systems. In this role, you'll work on core systems that power payment integrations and treasury operations, at the intersection of crypto and fiat rails. The opportunity involves designing and implementing secure, scalable backend services that integrate payment gateways, bank APIs, and crypto platforms across Kraken products. The role also involves automating treasury workflows, ensuring financial data accuracy, and collaborating with various teams to deliver scalable solutions. Monitoring and troubleshooting live systems, ensuring high availability and performance is another element of the job. Documenting systems and delivering thorough test coverage to support long-term maintainability is expected as well.
