Software Engineer II

The Opportunity:

• Join Fandango's Platform Operations team as a Software Engineer II, where you'll help build and enhance the tools and systems that improve developer productivity.
• Report to the Sr. Director, Platform Operations and collaborate with experienced engineers to develop platform capabilities and improve internal tooling.

What You'll Do:

• Contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of internal platform tools and services under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Build and enhance backend services, APIs, and data models that support platform capabilities across multiple products.
• Develop user-friendly frontend experiences for internal tools using React and Next.js.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated programming experience through internships, projects, or up to 2 years of professional software development.
• Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript, modern web frameworks like React, and basic understanding of REST APIs and databases.
