Join the Embedded Payments team as a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to own complex, cross-cutting problems across a cloud-native payment orchestration platform.
Report to the Director of Software Engineering and set technical direction while mentoring mid-level engineers as the team scales.

Tech Stack:

Frontend: React (CRA), Material-UI, JavaScript, Jest, ESLint, Storybook, Playwright.
Backend: Node.js, AWS (ECS, RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL, API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, SQS, EventBridge).
DevOps: Bitbucket Pipelines, Terraform; Payments: Worldpay, Stripe, Apple Pay/Google Pay.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Lead design and delivery of cross-cutting features with focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Drive technical design for new payments capabilities including architecture trade-offs and risk assessment.
Mentor engineers through code review and pairing; identify and resolve systemic issues before they become customer-facing.

Qualifications:

7+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep Node.js and React expertise.
Proven ownership across full stack, strong relational database knowledge, and hands-on AWS experience.
Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and comfort working on a 100% remote team with technical leadership.
