Job Description
The senior developer provides software development and support for client projects and on internal initiatives. Typical client projects include building customizations for the fundraising software BlackBaud CRM, and integrations between related platforms. The senior developer may also contribute to product development initiatives, focused on supporting clients’ fundraising efforts. Take the lead in designing and developing complex software solutions to meet the objectives of client projects and internal initiatives. Customize and extend fundraising software systems, like Blackbaud CRM, to cater to the specific needs of clients. Develop integration solutions to seamlessly connect donor engagement platforms and other third-party systems with existing software infrastructure. Ensure data integrity and smooth data flow between systems for optimal performance. Take responsibility for conducting thorough quality assurance testing on software deliverables to ensure they meet the high standards of client requirements and expectations. Act as a mentor to less experienced staff, providing guidance and support to help them grow their technical skills and contribute effectively to the team's success. Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment of objectives, and successful project execution.
