Job Description
The Procurement Director will develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies that support the organization's objectives, including cost optimization, quality improvement, and risk mitigation. This involves conducting market analysis, identifying opportunities for competitive advantage, and leading strategic sourcing initiatives across all categories of spend. You will establish procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure optimal performance, innovation, and value creation. Drive cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives through strategic sourcing, demand management, and process improvements. Partner with departments across the organization to understand requirements, align procurement activities with business needs, and ensure seamless execution. Lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of procurement technologies including orchestration platforms and AI adoption, contract management systems, and spend analytics tools.
