Role Overview:
- You will shape the architecture and modernization of critical backend systems for enterprise customers in an AI-powered environment.
- You will take technical ownership of governance capabilities including authentication, authorization, organizational structures, permissions, and billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end architecture of foundational systems and modernize business-critical backend services.
- Define technical direction and balance short-term reliability with long-term platform strategy.
- Spend 70-80% of your time writing and reviewing critical-path code while mentoring fellow engineers.
Requirements:
- Strong backend engineering experience with complex, business-critical systems.
- Deep expertise in authentication/authorization, multi-tenant systems, or billing platforms.
- Working knowledge of AI concepts such as LLMs, agents, RAG, and data governance.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual base salary of $214,200–$259,000 depending on experience.
