Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the technical architecture and roadmap for a modular, multi-RAT RAN digital twin covering LTE and 5G NR.
  • Integrate production MAC and scheduler software into deterministic, per-TTI/slot closed-loop simulations.
  • Design a fidelity ladder combining high-fidelity PHY execution with faster calibrated models for efficient engineering.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in communication systems, simulation, or wireless systems.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python for integrating production code with simulation tooling.
  • Sound experimental and statistical judgment: reproducibility, baselines, error analysis, and calibration.

Nice to Have:

  • PhD in wireless communications or signal processing.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow for communications.
  • Knowledge of LTE/5G NR L1/L2 behavior including MAC scheduling, HARQ, and resource allocation.
