Adjunct Assistant Professor, Nursing (Acute)

Role and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a mentor, role model and facilitator who provides guidance and academic support for students.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and the learning process.
• Apply skills and experience to an assigned teaching schedule.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of five years experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care and at least three years in the field they teach.
• MSN, DNP or PhD required; professional nurse licensure required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and online learning management systems.

Compensation and Environment:

• Compensation is paid per course, depending on education and number of students, ranging from $1,571 to $3,200 for an 8-week course.
