Senior Cybersecurity Compliance Consultant (US Remote)

Job Summary:

• Serve as the assigned security officer (vCISO) for a portfolio of client engagements, managing recurring meetings and acting as the primary point of contact.
• Lead CMMC Level 1 and 2 readiness engagements including NIST SP 800-171 assessments, SSP development, and POA&M management.
• Deliver compliance engagements across multiple frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to enhance clients' security postures.
• Oversee evidence collection and coordinate remediation with client IT teams and internal engineers.
• Maintain accurate time entries in PSA and contribute to scalable templates and knowledge base.

Qualifications:

• Active CISSP and CMMC CCP required; CCA required within 12 months.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive information security experience with at least 3 years in multi-client compliance or vCISO delivery.
• Demonstrated depth in at least three distinct regulatory frameworks.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary range $95,000-$120,000 annually plus monthly delivery-based bonus.
