Insurance Specialist

Responsible for processing total loss claims on all credit union secured collateral. Ensures that credit union recovers all available claim payments and warranty refunds minimize charge offs. Processes CPI/SMP billing and refund files on a weekly basis. Required Skills/Experience include a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of collections experience or two years of customer service or insurance experience. PC skills, working knowledge of automated collection systems and comprehension of credit reports required. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work, flexibility, the ability to maintain confidentiality, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
