Core Responsibilities:

  • Complete enrollment and re-enrollment applications for physicians, ancillary providers, and facilities with third-party payers and government programs.
  • Perform primary source verification of licenses, malpractice, and work history, and conduct file audits as requested.
  • Maintain CAQH profiles and credentialing databases in accordance with company policies.

Client and Team Collaboration:

  • Partner with client liaisons and billing departments to update provider enrollment status.
  • Respond to inquiries from physicians, staff, hospitals, and managed care companies with professionalism.
  • Communicate regularly with clients on process updates and communicate any delays to leadership.

Qualifications and Expectations:

  • High school education required; bachelor’s degree preferred; 3-5 years of relevant healthcare experience required.
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or similar certifications a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe; Excel preferred.
