Reimbursement Coordinator I Non-Medicare

The reimbursement coordinator of collections is responsible for collecting and managing account payments. This position is responsible for submitting claims and following up with insurance companies for payment fulfillment. This a fully remote position but must live in a state we do business in. The coordinator will complete billing tasks daily, ensuring minimal write off of reimbursement dollars. They will monitor and maintain assigned accounts, collect all necessary information to prepare insurance claims, and submit clean claims timely and appropriately to various insurance companies, either electronically or by paper according to payor guidelines. Researching, correcting, and resubmitting rejected and denied claims, as well as preparing appeals to denied claims is required.
