Job Description
You will be working in a team supporting a large database footprint and responsible for production and development operations, playing a key role in driving forward data initiatives and strategies. You'll help lead the building and management of high-volume, real-time data services and infrastructure, collaborating closely with data engineering and product teams to design and maintain reliable, efficient systems that support mission-critical operations.
Managing large-scale data platforms, ensuring their performance, scalability, and alignment with business goals is key. Supporting Redshift and PostgreSQL databases in a hybrid cloud environment, you'll partner with development teams to engineer next-generation products. The role involves managing HA architectures, disaster recovery, and backup/restore processes, with a focus on repeatable builds, automation, documentation, and monitoring.
