Staff Engineer

What you'd own:

• Production agentic systems in a regulated space, covering automated workflows, LLM-assisted QA, and AI features like RAG, function calling and evals.
• System design across your product, spanning Epic integration, prior auth pipelines, and patient comms infrastructure, with an eye on how it connects to the rest of the platform.
• The standards on your team and delivery across your workstream: patterns, review culture, quality bar, and roadmaps tied to product milestones.

What we're looking for:

• You've owned a product before and made the calls that shaped it.
• A track record of building complex systems from scratch, with specific decisions you made and why.
• High agency, comfort with ambiguity, and daily use of AI tools (Claude/Cursor-native).

Where you'll work:

• Remote-first, but based in US Eastern or Central time to stay in sync with customers and team.
• Option to use the engineering hub in downtown Orlando if nearby.
• No legacy estate, no change board, no three-week sign-off loop.

The upside:

• Series A company of about 70 people, roughly 40 engineers, so a Staff hire shapes the product.
