Job Description
This Underwriter Assistant specifically works with national payroll agencies and digital partners and is within a quickly growing division of the AmTrust with opportunities for advancement. Emphasis is on providing excellent customer service which consists of friendly and prompt responses to agent emails, calls, and quick problem resolution.
Underwriting assistants work directly with the agent providing documents, binding policies and processing endorsements. Responsibilities include receiving, responding and re-directing inquiries from producers and home office personnel, securing underwriting information, preparing business letters and excel worksheets, and processing endorsements and policy changes. The role also involves assisting in training co-workers and agents and binding new business and renewals.
