About the Role:
- As a Platform Engineer, you'll work across infrastructure and backend engineering to build and maintain Monzo's core platform.
- You'll enhance Kubernetes clusters, manage cloud resources, and develop services that simplify infrastructure for other teams.
What You'll Work With:
- Go, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Terraform, and Envoy Proxy are core technologies in this role.
- You'll balance hands-on infrastructure work with software engineering to build scalable, reliable systems.
What We're Looking For:
- A strong foundation in software engineering and a keen interest in modern platform tooling.
- Experience with cloud (AWS/GCP), containers, automation, and a curiosity for how distributed systems fail and scale.
