Owning procurement reporting end to end across supplier spend, contracts, and lifecycle performance treating reporting as a product by designing, building and continuously improving dashboards and outputs that are actively used by stakeholders, and shaping how procurement performance is measured
Building scalable, reliable and increasingly automated reporting by improving data flows, connecting datasets across procurement and finance systems, and strengthening the foundations of how procurement data is structured and used
Delivering clear, decision-ready insight on cost, supplier performance and procurement activity, including explaining why changes are happening, translating business questions into structured analysis, and supporting stakeholders to take informed action
Taking ownership of complex FinCrime Business Banking tasks, including Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and multi-jurisdictional money muling investigations.
Writing and submitting high-quality Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to the National Crime Agency (NCA).
Coaching Investigators on complex financial crime typologies and best practices to drive a culture of excellence.
Be a hands on leader in building a discipline of exceptional analytics working to make Data at Monzo the gold standard within the industry.
Nurture between 6 and 7 engineers, supporting, coaching and developing high performing engineers through regular 1:1s, continuous feedback and relationships with others.
Aid prioritisation of initiatives and projects, working closely with other leads for each of our Monzo collectives.
Partner with product managers to advise on legal matters relating to business banking and merchant payments.
Support Monzo with the operational and product changes needed to offer point of sale (POS) and online card payment acceptance to our business banking customers.
Help to develop efficient ways of working to enable Monzo to scale quickly, and ensuring Monzo operates safely and in accordance with the law and regulation.
You’ll act as a source of knowledge within the product team on key topics that are new in acquiring - hardware support, chargeback handling and reconciliation as well as regulation and schemes rules
You’ll ensure accurate, efficient, compliant, and delightful design and delivery of key operational elements.
You’ll share customer feedback, pain points and ideas with the Product Team, and help them shape our product and ensure we build the right technical solution for our teams and customers.
