This role involves helping clients understand their performance compared to peers across various Key Performance Indicators, partnering with Financial Services organizations in the UK to evaluate performance and advise senior management on strategy. You'll gather data, analyze results, and deliver strategic insights, building strong client relationships and developing expertise as a consultant in the Financial Services industry.
As Upvest enters the next stage of growth, they are looking for an exceptional VP or Director of Finance. You will work directly with the CFO building out the more analytical, forward-looking side of the Finance department, and also closely with the founder and CEO to ensure Upvest reaches its ambitious goals. You will lead building out the Financial Planning, Analysis & Impact (FPAI), Commercial Finance, and Data Analytics teams.
This role will ensure efficient financial management, strong treasury oversight, and long-term sustainability while supporting teams across the business. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable operating in both traditional finance and crypto environments.
Analyze financial data and prepare various accounting and financial reports. You will be researching macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions. Evaluate capital expenditures and asset depreciation. Coordinate with other members of the finance team, such as a risk analyst when required to review financial information and forecasts. Providing financial models and making financial forecasts.
