Reporting and Analysis:
- Assist with report development and analysis to inform the actuarial side.
- Evaluate and analyze health insurance applications to determine risk.
- Interpret and analyze underlying claims experience to inform underwriting decisions.
Policy Development:
- Assist in the development of insurance policies or suggest changes.
- Balance the needs of the market with the risk to the insurance company.
- Stay updated with changes in legislation and regulations that may affect the product.
Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial health actuary department.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
