Analyze M&E plans and design relational databases with PostgreSQL/PostGIS, including stored procedures, views, and data validation.
Develop RESTful APIs in Python, implement ETL workflows, and build unit/integration tests.
Create mobile-friendly web interfaces with React, building interactive dashboards and visualization modules.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8 years of experience, or equivalent combination.
Proven expertise in PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and GIS tools.
Strong understanding of Section 508 accessibility, FISMA/NIST compliance, and cloud-ready architecture.

Work Environment:

Remote work within the United States; up to three on-site visits per year for onboarding and collaboration.
Collaboration with USGS scientists and teams across five U.S. volcano observatories.
Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
