Senior Manager, Back End Engineering

About the Role:

• Lead a team of engineers responsible for core policy, billing, and financial ledger platforms.
• Combine people leadership with technical and architectural guidance to deliver scalable, secure systems.
• Improve engineering processes, capacity planning, and technical decision-making.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Coach, lead, and develop mid-level, senior, and staff software engineers.
• Partner with Product Management, Program Management, and other teams to drive successful delivery.
• Set expectations with leadership and stakeholders and drive performance against KPIs.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8–10 years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years of engineering management.
• Strong technical architecture fluency with a focus on back end systems.
• Executive-ready written communication skills and enterprise stakeholder management experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $249,000 to $367,000 per year.
