New Accountant

A successful candidate will possess a willingness and desire to work independently without significant supervision. The Accountant is responsible for preparing and booking general ledger entries to ensure a timely and accurate monthly close. Prepare monthly account reconciliations of general ledger balance sheet accounts, department spend review, identifying/resolving discrepancies and reporting financial misstatements. The candidate will assist with Accounts Payable/Receivable or other projects and tasks as needed. The candidate will answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data, and assist with preparing consolidated financial statements.
