Vice President, Tax

Role Overview:

• Serve as NWN's senior tax executive, responsible for tax strategy, compliance, planning, and risk management.
• Report to the CFO and partner with executive leadership and private equity sponsors.
• Oversee all aspects of federal, state, local, telecommunications, and indirect taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute enterprise tax strategy aligned with corporate objectives and growth goals.
• Lead tax workstreams for acquisitions, including due diligence, structuring, and integration.
• Establish tax risk governance, internal controls, and audit defense frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Taxation required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years in lead tax roles with 7+ years in senior tax leadership.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred; experience with private equity-backed companies preferred.
