Job Description
The Executive Underwriter – Film & TV role is fully remote, and the position will operate on Pacific Standard time hours. Manage and underwrite an existing portfolio of studio and large blanket Film and Television accounts including Production Package, Commercial General Liability, Commercial Auto Liability, Excess Liability and Workers’ Compensation policies. Work independently within underwriting authority guidelines and liaise with carrier’s program manager for coverage outside of authority.
Review and evaluate quote submissions; analyze data; create coverage, limit and deductible comparisons; establish rating, pricing and terms; prepare proposals; negotiate terms.
Create, modify and issue all manuscript policies. Underwrite and quote excess buy-backs, stop dates and special/supplemental coverages. Oversee cast medical underwriting and coverage terms.
