Senior Manager, Communications & Media Relations

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead rapid-response communications by monitoring news developments, preparing timely statements, and coordinating media outreach.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and secure earned media coverage across national, regional, and industry publications.
• Draft, edit, and oversee external communications including press releases, op-eds, talking points, and executive messaging.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of experience in communications, media relations, or public affairs, ideally in legal, advocacy, or nonprofit environments.
• At least 3 years of experience managing or mentoring communications professionals.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong understanding of media strategy and crisis communications.
