About the Role:
- Focus on media relations to shape public understanding of our work.
- Work with journalists to secure accurate, high-quality coverage.
- Report to the Senior Communications Officer based in New York.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an on-the-record spokesperson and pitch stories.
- Manage reactive press work and prepare spokespeople for interviews.
- Monitor coverage and support reputational risk review.
Who You Are:
- 3–7 years of experience in media relations, press office, or journalism.
- Strong news judgment and ability to build journalist relationships.
- Comfortable speaking on the record and handling sensitive situations.

- Baseline compensation of $166,750 (base salary $145,000 + 401(k) grant).
