Security Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SOAR playbooks and security automation workflows for alert triage, enrichment, incident response, and reporting.
• Build integrations between SOAR platforms and security technologies using APIs, webhooks, scripting, and custom connectors.
• Optimize security operations by reducing manual effort and improving response times through automation and AI.
• Administer SOAR platforms, manage upgrades, governance, access controls, and platform health.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3–5 years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on SOAR expertise in enterprise or MSSP environments.
• Strong experience designing security automation workflows and supporting SOC environments.
• Knowledge of incident response, detection engineering, SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR), and API integrations.
• Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or Microsoft security certs preferred.
