AI Transformation & Operational Efficiency Manager

Overview:

• Story is adopting a Default-to-AI strategy and seeking a hands-on AI leader to identify, prioritize, and oversee implementations across business units, starting with Accounting and Finance.
• This business-focused role centers on project management, operational transformation, and vendor oversight, requiring strong leadership to drive results.

What You Will Do:

• Assess processes with department leaders, identify AI opportunities, and develop business cases based on impact, cost savings, and ROI.
• Lead AI project execution from discovery through adoption, managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and budgets to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Drive adoption through training, change management, and process redesign while ensuring data security and compliance.

What You Bring:

• 7+ years in project management, business transformation, AI implementation, or consulting with proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects.
• Strong working knowledge of generative AI, workflow automation, and vendor management, plus familiarity with Accounting and Finance operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a practical, execution-oriented mindset.
