Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Networking, Storage, SRE, Product) on platform evolution.
- Coach engineers across all levels, raising the technical bar in systems programming and distributed systems.
- Champion observability and reliability practices with Grafana, Sentry, and SumoLogic.
Technical Leadership:
- Architect and evolve hypervisor integrations (libvirt, QEMU, KVM) across thousands of hosts.
- Design scalable, automated networking systems built on BGP, EVPN, and OVS.
- Lead large-scale automation and provisioning frameworks with GitLab CI/CD and Puppet/Ansible.
Innovation & Scale:
- Drive advanced performance tuning across CPU, memory, I/O, networking, and storage layers.
- Proven record architecting and scaling hypervisor-based infrastructure.
- Mastery of Linux internals, kernel debugging, and performance engineering.
