Job Description
Conducts environmental compliance audits in active construction areas, including reviewing reports, permits, and regulatory documents. Prepares audit findings and coordinates with technical teams to ensure environmental commitments are met. Works closely with an interdisciplinary compliance team.
Provides oversight and management of compliance with the Authorityβs environmental commitments. Evaluates high-speed rail for conformance to federal, state, and local regulatory standards. Acts independently and as part of a multi-discipline compliance team to ascertain compliance and recommend appropriate action to ensure compliance or return to compliance. Assists with the development of findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to ensure continued compliance and address compliance deficiencies. Provides technical assistance to ensure continued permit compliance and address noncompliance.
