Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of the cloud data lakehouse architecture for federal species data ingestion.
- Design Delta Live Tables ETL pipeline architecture, including topology, data flow, and error-handling.
- Lead schema harmonization activities and produce field-level mapping documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 12 years experience or equivalent; U.S. citizenship required.
- Extensive experience in cloud data architecture with Databricks and Delta Lake.
- Strong knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, and federal cloud compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Experience with federal environmental or geospatial data systems.
- Active Public Trust clearance.
