Job Description
The Science Desk is in search of a journalist who possesses engagement, curiosity, and a skeptical mindset for a 10-month reporting assignment. The Science Desk aims to deliver exceptional narratives, and its journalists seamlessly transition between covering breaking news and producing in-depth feature stories. The position involves developing leads for enterprise stories and reporting special projects, initiating short-term features and in-depth reports, filing news spots and digital posts, and helping prepare multimedia presentations. This is a temporary full-time position based in Washington DC.
