New Staff Fullstack Engineer, Data Products (Golang / Node)

What you'll bring:

• Proven ability to influence as a Staff owning product or platform systems end to end across multiple teams.
• Deep full-stack expertise in Go, Ruby, and Node, plus experience with analytics platforms, graph data systems, or warehouse integration.
• High agency and a force-multiplier mindset that raises the people and codebase around you.

What you'll own:

• Architect how GitLab and third-party data is ingested, modeled, and synced into a near-real-time knowledge graph.
• Lead integration with external systems and architect the Data Marketplace for Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery.
• Define operational readiness and resolve cross-team dependencies across graph backend, AI Platform, and Infrastructure.

About the team:

• Data Products spans dashboard/reporting, internal ingestion, and external ingestion surfaces.
• We are a new 0-to-1 team in a high-impact, ambiguous space.
• We need engineers who create clarity, make practical tradeoffs, and keep pushing until customer value lands.
