About the Role:
- You will apply health economics and econometric methods to support Medicaid policy and program improvement.
- The role focuses on federal policy changes and program integrity initiatives for Hawaiʻi Med-QUEST.
- You will lead analytic workstreams and engage directly with senior Medicaid leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct economic and quantitative analyses using Medicaid data.
- Develop forecasts, scenarios, and econometric models to inform policy design and evaluation.
- Translate complex findings into clear reports and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- You hold a PhD in economics, health economics, or a related field with at least five years of relevant experience.
- You have advanced proficiency in R, Stata, SAS, or Python and experience with large healthcare datasets.
- You possess strong knowledge of Medicaid policy and program operations.
