Platform Engineer

About the role:

• You'll join a small, high-performing platform team.
• We move fast: 10-20 production releases a day, with a backlog that's always groomed and prioritized.
• Your work will span new infrastructure, performance, scalability, and systems reliability.

What you will do:

• Design and build the core data infrastructure powering Vantage's platform.
• Own architecture decisions for systems built on ClickHouse, Temporal, Kubernetes, and Postgres.
• Collaborate closely with product and application teams to define platform contracts, APIs, and developer tooling.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of backend or platform engineering experience, with a track record of building systems that scale
• Strong foundations in distributed systems, data pipelines, or workflow orchestration
• Preference for simple, durable designs - someone who knows when not to add complexity
