Job Description

In the position of Conservation Manager – Regenerative Agriculture and Livestock in the Cerrado, you will be responsible for leading and managing a diverse portfolio of conservation, governance, and sustainable development initiatives linked to the agriculture and livestock agenda in the Cerrado, aiming to foster a transition to regenerative systems. You will lead a team that deals with systemic and complex issues related to the expansion of production chains, land use and occupation, financial mechanisms for financing sustainable agriculture and livestock, and territorial governance. Must connect biodiversity protection, science-based evidence, relationships with local communities and local/regional partners to the implementation of Regenerative Agriculture projects. Will serve as a focal point for projects with key private sector partners, other conservation organizations, foundations and the academic community. This position reports to the Conservation Director for the Cerrado. This position is home-office, so characteristics such as self-management and self-motivation are important.
