Senior Network Security Engineer

As a Senior Network Security Engineer at Flock Safety, you will ensure the security of our foundational infrastructure, from our cloud environments to our devices and endpoints. This role involves managing cloud network primitives with code-forward approaches like Terraform and scripting languages such as Go and Python. You will help architect and build Flock's client and customer VPN infrastructure in partnership with Flock's SRE team. This role also requires designing and implementing network security boundary protections for Flock's cloud environments (primarily AWS). You will partner with team members to manage and maintain Flock's web application firewall infrastructure, collaborate with hardware engineering teams to deploy secure networking solutions for edge devices, and automate repetitive tasks in network management using code solutions. Additionally, you will build partnerships with engineering teams to embed security in the development lifecycle, respond to security incidents as an SME, and perform root cause analysis.
