About the Role:
- This is an added headcount on a growing team, working on the next generation of flag-delivery architecture.
- You will own critical-path systems that stream feature-flag configuration globally in near real time.
- The stack includes Go, AWS, Terraform, and Datadog, but deep backend expertise matters most.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate distributed systems that deliver feature-flag configuration to SDKs.
- Own and improve reliability, latency, and scalability of streaming and polling infrastructure.
- Drive architectural decisions, trading off performance, cost, and operability.
What We're Looking For:
- 6+ years of backend engineering with significant work on distributed or high-throughput systems.
- Strong production ownership, including on-call experience and a focus on reliability.
- Proficient in at least one backend language like Go, Rust, or Python and cloud platforms like AWS.
