Senior DataOps Engineer

Cloud Migration & Infrastructure:

• Lead end-to-end migration of data workloads from AWS Commercial to AWS GovCloud.
• Set up and administer enterprise Git repositories and enforce DataOps best practices.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-171, DFARS, CUI, and ITAR/EAR requirements.

Data Pipeline Development & Orchestration:

• Design scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, and DBT.
• Implement real-time and batch data streaming with Kafka and Azure Event Hubs.
• Automate pipeline monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms.

Data Architecture & Governance:

• Lead design of enterprise data models including star schema and Data Vault 2.0 patterns.
• Implement data quality frameworks and manage data lineage with Microsoft Purview.
• Enforce data classification policies for sensitive data across all pipeline stages.
