Associate Accountant

We're looking for a driven Associate Accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on inventory and general ledger transactions. You will execute monthly accounting close activities and deliverables (i.e. journal entries, allocations, accruals, adjustments and reporting). Proactively identify issues and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes including follow up on action items related. Assist in the analysis of monthly financial results compared to budget and prior period actual results including summarize and prepare financials status and transactions (ie, P&L statement) and other necessary reports. Collaborate cross-functionally supporting other departments to enhance the financial process and to contribute to other accounting ad-hoc projects as needed. Prepare and provide documentation to auditors in connection with external financial audit. Ensure proper internal controls, including compliance with Company policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations. Assist with other projects and assignments, as needed.
