Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend systems on IBM i using RPG, SQLRPGLE, and CLP.
- Integrate IBM i applications with relational databases (DB2 for i) and enterprise systems.
- Deliver reliable, tested code including unit tests and contributions to CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration and Engagement:
- Work closely with teammates, product managers, and QA in daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
- Contribute to dynamic requirements and initiatives with cross-team collaborators.
- Share on-call/escalation responsibilities with your team.
Qualifications and Growth:
- 0-5 years of industry experience in software engineering, with foundational knowledge of RPG, SQLRPGLE, or CLP.
- Eagerness to deepen IBM i skills and learn modern integration patterns and AI coding tools.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, quality, and security.
